Riding an Icelandic horse is something you have to experience at least once in your life.
In this tour you will be picked up at your hotel and then go to Hafnarfjörður, which is close to Reykjavík. There you can enjoy the friendly horses on excellent riding paths.
Ride through lava fields and along beautiful green hillsides. Look for different rock formations in the lava while experiencing the special gait, tölt.
This tour is ideal for beginners as well as for more experienced riders.
Note: You cannot take any backpacks or bags with you on the ride but there are safety boxes at the Riding Centre where you can store your valuables.
You will be provided riding helmets, rubber boots, and rainwear or a warm outfit during the ride. English and scndinavian speaking guidence.
At the riding center you can have an homemade lunch for extra charge.
